The famous bamboo and rattan car by Filipino furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue and German Albrecht Birkner was exhibited in Salone Internazionale del Mobile (International Furniture Fair) in Milan, Italy. The "Phoenix", from what Cobonpue describes it, is the world's first car made from bamboo and rattan even if it was built in just 10 days. Every visitors who had set their eyes on the "Phoenix" was fascinated and visualized that it is a bird just about to take off and go sky-high.
