A MARK OF BLOOD

Xernan Orticio Holiday 2012
Philippine Fashion Week

Entitling his show Stigamata, inspired from the supernatural suspense movie, Xernan Orticio’s creations gave an intuition of good, evil, and faith. He played it up by placing a red wire crown of thorns to his models and gave a distinctive approach on the shoes which designed by Ally Duazo of Gold Dot.

Putting up his collection on the different shades of scarlet, he combined it to his structured pieces by having an unusual cut on vest, peplum detailing, thigh-high slit on skirt, sheer inserts, and his signature on red piping.

With the 30-look line up, juxtaposition of textures, and completely all-red pieces, Xernan Orticio brought us this time to a deeper and darker fascination from blood, love, and infatuation.
