started the ball rolling by introducing the Philippines’ next male and female
top models. There were 17 finalists who showcased their skills in being flexible
in photos and runway. Then after rounds of categories, the judges picked the
top 6 finalists. They were Randy, Gerard, and Jeremiah for males while Zandra,
May Ann, and Karizalleen for females. Throughout the show, it was full of high-pulsating
flashes of themes especially the set-up where the female contenders wore towering
heel-less shoes. It demonstrated that models must be models and with that, they
have to act out competently.
Gerard Go got the privilege to be the next top male model of the country although to be frank, Randy Cailles would've had the chance (for me, at least). But then in spite of it, it’s already attested that
we are going to be able to see Gerard strutting down the shows the following season (and the following seasons!).
On
female model category, May Ann Naguit succeeded as a champion who’s been holding two
years experience in the industry and was able to join last season’s Philippine
Fashion Week.
