ZEGNA SILK PROJECT

Ermenegildo Zegna Spring 2013 Menswear
Milan Fashion Week

No man could ever spend his summer without considering tropical banana and mango leaves as his motif. Spotting these pattern on shirts and slim trousers on Zegna’s models, Anna Zegna, granddaughter of Ermenegildo, established a silky and fine-looking collection.

Her show was conquered by palette of mannish colors all in sapphire, wine-red, cream, and bronze. Silhouettes were sharply tailored so as to prove that jackets with bold shoulders, perforated knit polos, and high-waist pants with sewn up pleats entails that a Zegna man is nothing but sleek and classy.

As the show was set out in 30-piece collection dominated by silk fabrics sighted commonly on shirts, Anna Zegna brooded over that the textile is “The cashmere of summer”.
