Melchor
Guinto offered sleek and glossy collection for his Spring/Summer 2013 show. In
some way, it did make the both sexes drool over on some pieces particularly the
plaid suits and trousers in shade of orange for men matching with the same
motif for women. We could say it’s a
timeless pattern but it would be more fitting, on Guinto’s case, that it’s a timeless
piece that he created and needless to say, fashionable.
But
his collection wasn't just all about plaid. He also crafted a number of halter
high neck dresses that were thigh length or ankle length in multi-colored
stripes, cool carroty and azure-y blazers for men notably on what Heydar
Hosseini showed off composedly, and a number of textured blazers (also for men)
in shades of yellow and black. With no going back, the eminent matter was that
he did it everything at once.
